Klansman? Me? (A/Z)

For the A to Z Challenge - Letter K. Warning: Rant below! :)

I have just about had it with the race card.

I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, because it most certainly does. But just because I expect answers doesn't make me a racist. Neither does expecting a leader to make responsible decisions. Pass responsible laws. Handle the national budget with sense. Refrain from lavish vacations for himself and his family on the country's dime during times of fiscal crisis. Demanding that the will of the people be taken into consideration. Remember that whole not the color of my skin but the content of my character thing?

Many people question his citizenship. Supposedly born in Hawaii, the question has been raised he may have been born in Indonesia or somewhere else - rendering him disqualified from being President of the United States. To be honest I don't really have a strong feeling either way on which is right. But I will tell you I have a very low tolerance for bullsh*t.

Listen up: If you were born here, prove it. Not with relatives swearing by it, not with xeroxed newspaper announcements, not by chuckling dismissively and saying you're getting picked on by racists. You're wasting my time. You're wasting America's time. Ante up your proof with original, doctor signed docmuents and settle the matter if you very well can so we can get on with important business.

And by the way, sticking up for a sub-par, expect no accountability president just because he is black (*ahem*, half-black, but you never hear mention of that), IS in fact, also being a racist.

But he's already made it public, you can see it online, just google it. Strange no one has any evidence for why they think he wasn't born here, just 'questions have been raised'.

I'm not taking sides, I'm just saying, give up the SPECIFIC proof that people want, be it right or wrong to be a "birther", so we can put this ridiculousness to bed one way or the other. And just in case it was missed, this post is about way more than "birther" issues. :)

Thanks for your comment, mooderino! :)

Yes, funny how no one ever mentions the white half and I know where you're coming from. My own son and daughter-in-law accused us of being racist during the elections because we weren't supporters.

The birth issue? The U.S. President can NOT be a naturalized citizen. He or she MUST be BORN a citizen. It is the law. If his royal presidentness doesn't have anything to hide he should just produce a birth certificate and shut everyone up once and for all.

Personally, I would like to see his college transcripts that have been sealed up tighter than Fort Knox while we are at it.

I'm not prejudice...I hate everybody.

But my hatred for him has NOTHING to do with his color. It has to do with his Socialist agenda and destroying the America I love.

I agree with you hundred percent. But then, I've lived with this bullshit in my country since '94 (which means I was six when it started and ten when I became cynical.)

Now THAT's the Ohio I know and love. Thanks, Clew, for being fed up enough and brave enough to stand up and shout - STOP with the crap.

I soooooooo remember the 60's in the Bottoms. :/

All he has to do to shut everyone up is produce a VALID birth certificate. He fooled a lot of people before he got elected, is he fooling us again?

He stinks at running the country, the healthcare, the energy, the economy, etc. There is only one good thing I can say (and I "feel", don't know for sure) about him; he is a good family man.
